GOSPEL SHOES
A Bible-reading program designed to help teenagers build a daily habit of diving into Scriptures.

Students will commit to reading the Bible and journaling daily, alongside their leaders. Each student will get a custom Gospel Shoes journal that’s checked by their leader every 30 days. This keeps them accountable and gives them a chance to ask questions and discuss what they’re learning in their small group.

We’ve created a  Bible-reading plan that gives students an overview of the Bible’s story Chronologically, they can choose from three options. Finish in 120 days, 240 days, or a year—whatever works for them!

WHO IS IT FOR?
It’s for all of you. Whether you’ve finished the Version 1 or not, you’re invited to run it back.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT?
If you’ve never received Gospel Shoes before, you’ll get a pair, it's yours.. enjoy it!!

But if you’ve done the challenge before and already received shoes. You’ll still get shoes. But this time, we’re challenging you to give them away.

THE HEART BEHIND GOSPEL SHOES 2
Jesus said, “Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it. And He also taught, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” So during these 120 days, we want you to think about one someone you could bless and encourage. Because giving your shoes away is more than just giving a gift. It’s a way to show Jesus’ love and invite someone to experience it for themselves.

We’re asking you to pray and think about someone you could give your shoes to, and to begin building a relationship with them. That way, when you give the shoes to that person, there is already a relationship there. It could be a friend at school, someone from a club or team, or even a family member.

Inside the Gospel Shoes you give away, there will also be an invitation for them to do Gospel Shoes for themselves and a chance for them to begin building their own relationship with God.

And just to be clear...  if this is your first time finishing the challenge, don’t feel bad about keeping the shoes. You finished strong, and we’re really proud of you. Enjoy them!!

GROUND RULES:
- Attend youth group regularly
- Complete the challenge in 2026
- Journaling, no other ways around it
- Check in with your leaders every 30 days
